Scope
The client wanted an abstracted material- forward representation of an aerial view of the city of Chicago where their headquarters is located.

Prototype
2' x 2' section was made of the map.
Lots of materials were explored in this stage. The colors and textures were pulled from what was used in the interior design of their office.
The Brass rods were changed to be elevated for the final piece.
Design
Loose layouts were made, but most of the design came from on the spot decisions when gluing the materials.
